1.) Introduce each participant to the fundamentals skills of the basic golf swing.

2.) Improve and develop the existing skills of past LSGC clinic participants.

3.) Provide each participant with a general understanding of how the game of golf is played.

4.) Provide each participant with a general understanding of golfing etiquette, course care and safety.

5.) Increase each participant’s knowledge of African Americans and other minority contributions to the game of golf.

                                                 The Lexington Swingers Golf Club will instruct each participant on the fundamentals of the following basic skills:

Safety, Grip, Chipping, Rules, Stance & Address, Pitching, Golf Etiquette, Aim & Alignment, Pitch & Run,

Course Care, Short putts, Breaking Putts, Iron Play, Driving & Fairway woods
